About Vandanya
A home is not built. It is slowly gathered.
Vandanya exists because Indian homes deserve interior design that actually understands them – not a translated version of a Pinterest board built for a different climate, different rituals, and different way of living.
We use AI to create interior design concepts rooted in India’s own design languages — Rajasthani havelis, Kerala courtyards, Bengali verandahs, Mughal arches, Himachali wood-and-stone homes, and more. Every concept is built around real Indian constraints: small apartments, humidity, joint families, festival rituals, and budgets that start at ₹5,000, not ₹5,00,000.
Why We Started
Most home decor content online falls into two camps — glossy Western interiors that don’t translate to Indian homes, or generic listicles with no depth, no cultural understanding, and no real guidance on execution. Nothing combined genuine Indian cultural design with the kind of specific, practical advice a homeowner actually needs — exact materials, exact paint codes, real ₹ budgets, and an honest read on what’s worth spending on.
Vandanya was built to close that gap....

What We Do
We create AI-generated interior design concepts, organized by Indian cultural style and room type, so you can find inspiration that’s actually relevant to your home and your budget. Every concept comes with:
- A full material and colour breakdown, with real paint code equivalents
- An itemised budget in rupees — not vague price ranges
- Vastu considerations, treated as practical wisdom, not superstition
- A step-by-step guide to actually recreating the look
- Curated product recommendations to shop the exact pieces featured
What We Believe
Slow over fast
A home built with intention lasts longer — in style and in meaning — than one built on impulse.
Cultural first
Cultural homes have their own logic, light, rituals, and constraints. We design for that reality, not around it.
Natural, always
Wood over plastic. Brass over chrome. Clay over ceramic. Materials that age well and mean something.
Honesty, no exceptions
Every affiliate link is disclosed. Every recommendation is genuine. We never accept paid placements dressed up as advice.
Vandanya is built from Dehradun, Uttarakhand — a state where craft, ritual, and everyday life still live close together. That closeness shapes how we think about Indian homes: not as spaces to decorate, but as spaces slowly gathered, room by room, season by season.
